The topography and orienteering course “Move Always” (Muovi Sempre) completes the topics covered in the basic course and provides participants with elements enabling them to move safely and consciously, both night and day, in not-extreme environments.
SilentCroc offers Muovi Sempre training courses in topography and orienteering, open to everyone 16 years old and over and have completed the Move Safe course.

Course description
The course will cover all aspects related to orientation and topography, completing the basic knowledge acquired in Move Safe. The aim is to move safely and consciously, both day and night in not-extreme environments.
Objectives: orient yourself day and night without compass, in-depth map reading, navigate with a map but without other basic tools, establish the position /distance /size of a point on the ground, move day and night in a little known or completely new environment.

- Review of basic concepts already acquired in Move Safe
- Map Symbolism
- Coordinatometer
- travel Direction
- obstacle bypassing
- Slope
- North finding without technical aids
- Magnetic North, Geographic North, Grid North
- Estimation of distances and quantities
- IGM map
- Day and night navigation
- Description of an itinerary
The course will be full of practical sessions and will take place in any weather conditions.
